It Takes A Village When you bring a new puppy home it involves every family member. Your kids, friends, parents, grandparents, and even the postman. You need to have everyone have a role and everyone needs to know what is expected of them and the puppy. And yes, it does take a village. Here are some things to consider when you are thinking about getting a puppy. After all, it is a new family member and will require breed specific care and lots of love. 1. What kind of lifestyle does the breed require? Our puppies require lots of companionship, love and an indoor environment. 2. What is the grooming requirements? Daily brushing and bathing weekly. Grooming is an option 3.How much exercise is required? They love to play in the yard, weather permitting, but running and playing in the house is usually enough. 4. Can you meet the parents or atleast see a pic? Our parents are on sight. 5. What kind of food is fed? We feed Science Diet, recommended by our vet. We also give Nu Vet daily. This is an amazing human grade supplement. It has made a tremendous difference in my dogs and their pups. It boosts their undeveloped immune system and protects them against disease. 6. Will puppy be vaccinated? yes, we give age appropriate vaccinations and de-worming. 7. What about socialization? Our puppies are in a social environment from birth. They are raised with lots of TLC in a family environment with other pets. 8. Is there a guarantee? Yes, against genetic defects resulting in death. 9. What about shedding? Our breeds are non-allergic types. That is to say, they do not shed hair and dander. 10. Are the pups pet quality or show quality? Our puppies are bred for pet quality. That is to say, they are bred with certain temperament and personality traits taken into consideration, however, most would be considered show quality. We breed sweet tempered, loyal, loving pets. Their average life span is 12-17 years, so you see, they can give you years of loyal and loving companionship. Just ask yourself if you have the time and desire to be a loyal and loving companion to your pet.
